They already had an established brand identity, so we worked with them to develop their web site and build upon their branding. To enable them to update the site themselves we created a content managed site on the Wordpress platform. This means that Cedar and Co can log in and add new content such as testimonials, quotes & blog posts whenever they want to. To create a wow factor for Cedar and Co we designed a flash animation of the "bean counter" on front page using character illustrations that are used throughout the site. Cedar and Co were happy with their existing branding, but did not have their logo in a suitable format. So we recreated it and built upon it, adding additional colours and elements. The web site is created using best design practice using the latest CSS techniques and is optimised for search engines. We also provided access to Google Analytics's to monitor traffic to the site and various web master tools to keep the site optimised. The idea behind the site was to make it look like all the paper and referrals a member might have on their desk, and to make the site information rich and useful resource. This is achieved via rich categorised content, various feeds into the site (Flickr, podcasts, BNI), the ability for members to post their news to the site, file downloads, newsletters and much more. The site is created using the latest techniques to create a visually interesting usable design.
