Project Description

Design and i were commissioned to re design and re brand the No Flys On Us (that’s how they spell it!) e-commerce website, working with the No Flys On Us website developer. No Flys On Us, are an on-line designer and alternative clothing company selling a wide range of brands. They wanted a design that would really stand out and be different, appealing to their predominantly young, street clientele.

The logo for the brand is a play on the company name. It features an Aussie style outback character with the stereotypical corks hanging from his hat (no flies on him!). The logo also features paint splats, which tie in with the wild nature of the brand, and a club style font, providing a juxtaposition between the different natures of the brands they sell.

The site design is created 100% in CSS and HTML making it search engine friendly and easy to update. The design is uniquely aligned to the right of the screen, and uses lots of different real world textures to give a quirky look. The design is chunky and vibrant, and shows stock off prominently.

The website also features unique sections based around specific brands, such as the Affliction brand. Using style sheets the whole site can be restyled to fit the stocked brand, whilst retaining the No Flys On Us identity.

In addition, Design and i were also responsible for creating various email newsletters and adverts, styled using the No Flys On Us branding.
